I should, I should, I should

I should be writing my essays, but I’m here blogging.
I should be planning for my presentations, but I’m on facebook.
I should be studying for tests, but I’m watching videos on youtube.
I don’t feel the pressure. I know that once I get started, I’ll be able to find the momentum to continue, but the problem is, [...]

How many idiots does it take to light a candle?

We went Chomp Chomp, then in the spirit of mid-autumn festival, someone decided to bring a lantern, so we started playing with it.
This video marks our useless attempts to make it work. Does it remind you of the old “how many –JCians/people does it take to change a lightbulb” joke?

Amateur Drivers

As far as traumatic experiences go, this has to be one of the strangest. Sitting in a car with my bestest best friend driving is not scary in the sense that I fear a loss of control, but rather, getting lost.
The good (and bad) thing is her reaction is pretty fast, so when the person [...]

I expect more from my friends

When someone asks you to have lunch with her the next day, and you stay through the morning, when you originally planned to go home, just because she asked, then the next day she tells you she’s not eating lunch because she had a late breakfast, will you not get irritated too?
Everyone, scold Mich for [...]

Dilemmas

I had a presentation due today, on the essay that I kept telling everyone I had to do, so much so I think they were sick of hearing me talk about it.I feel cheated, and yet relieved, that all my late nights turned out to be an exercise in futility. In the end, the tutor [...]

Long D

I’d forgotten what it feels like to have your muscles burning from exertion, yet having to squeeze more strength out of it. It seems like eons ago when I’d do drills when I’d already given everything just because someone said so.
The fatigue sets in motion the automatic state of mind taking over the functions of [...]

Wrapping Up – Handball

It was with a little trepidation mingled with a lot more reluctance that I went down to the court today. I’d say we ended on a nice note.
We weren’t really amazing, but we were consistent, and they were the ones making the mistakes.
At least we won, and even though we’re still last overall for the [...]

Nightlife

The night started off slow, and what was meant to be the highlight – the pageant preview- was merely the warm-up for the party. To be sure, the music was mediocre and the place was small, but the company was enthusiastic.
It wasn’t crowded like many clubs on ladies’ night, mostly because a large percentage of [...]

Finale

IBG is almost over. For posterity, I thought I’d give a less depressing, more objective breakdown on the events of the last two and a half weeks.
Okay. I admit, its still going to be a politically incorrect rant at some points. The positive thing with having this Inter-Block Games is that it bonds people, as all [...]

If I had a Choice

People are ill, and I’m still cajoling them into playing for me. Yet, its the way things are. I’d be entirely happy letting them all go home, sleep, do their homework at the expense of a game which, really, isn’t meant to instill the dull dread and animosity I’ve felt towards it for the last [...]
